With the labor mess that is going on, there can’t be any trades or free agent activity. What we do know is that whenever this is settled it would be a miracle if McNabb is on the Washington Redskins opening day roster.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, McNabb will be rocking the Prince Purple.
It still looks like Donovan McNabb is as good a guess as any to be the Vikings’ opening-game quarterback next season.
If you want to look at the glass half full with McNabb, he was just in a bad situation in DC and he has a few good years left. If you want to look at the glass half empty, he is past his prime, injury prone and can’t lead a team to the Super Bowl.
Truth probably somewhere in the middle and it is a bit early to speculate where he will end up, we just know it won’t be in DC.
