You know what is so scary about Lebron?
Talent wise he is the best player in the NBA. When he goes off, he is unstoppable, it is amazing to watch what happens when his mind is set to seek and destroy.
But unlike some of the real serial killers of the NBA, the Jordans, the Kobes, The Birds and etc his focus isn’t always on seek and destroy. Can you imagine if he purely focused on just destroying everyone in the NBA the type of damage he could do?
Just a thought as you read what happened during the game this afternoon against the Clippers.
LeBron was thinking the same thing — which is why he got frustrated when the refs were not moving the game along. In the fourth quarter the Heat’s Eddie House saw Clipper phenom Blake Griffin about to take off for one of his patented ally-oops and to break up the play he shoved him and Griffin went down hard.
The refs instantly called a flagrant 2 — meaning a House ejected, free throws and the ball for the Clippers — but then went to the video to make sure it was the right call.
As the refs were reviewing the video, Brian Windhorst of ESPN tweets James tried to speed them along saying:
I personally don’t have a problem with Lebron enjoying the celebrity side of his fame. To me that is a personal choice, you can’t force someone to be what we want them to be.
People want Kobe to be like Jordan, people want Lebron to be like Magic, but it isn’t our choice to make.
Lebron James is Lebron James for better or worse, you don’t know how it is going to work out, you can only watch and observed.
Hope he made it to his party on time.
