Amar’e Stoudemire Playing 1 on 1 With Ciara..Carmelo “Welcome to NY” Party

Before I get to Amar’e and Ciara, why are the Knicks throwing “Welcome to New York” parties for Carmelo when he has been there for more than a month?

They need to throw a “Defensive Fundamentals” party for the entire Knicks roster.

Last night, the Knicks threw an official “Welcome to New York” party for Carmelo at Abe & Arthur’s.

Sources said the team booked a private room for the 75-person bash and ordered a three-tier cake decorated with Melo’s jersey, yellow taxi cabs and the New York skyline.

I am all for decorative cakes, but the Knicks have to stop treating Carmelo like an Icon and more like a basketball player if they every expect to be a championship caliber team.

Moving on from that, part of being a hustler is about being able to adjust on the fly.  The music currently isn’t working out for Ciara (I don’t think she has a label), so best way to stay on Page 6 in this new age media world we live in, is to hook up with another celebrity or athlete who can upgrade them.

Ciara seems to have figured that out.

“Ciara is best friends with LaLa and has been attending Knicks games with her, including Monday’s game. Through Melo and LaLa, her friendship with Amar’e has developed. They have been seen out together on numerous occasions.”

One spy said Ciara and Amar’e had dinner at STK alone together two weeks ago, when Amar’e was overheard asking for a private table as they arrived. They’ve also been spotted at The Collective.

Pimp on CiCi, Pimp on…..
