Here is what bothers me about this.

The 16 year old hooker had no issue with Lawrence Taylor— she admits that she told him she was of age and that Taylor wasn’t abusive or threatening.

Her problem was with her pimp who beat her up, took advantage of her and abused her. The only reason Taylor was even involved in the case was because he was her last client when her pimp was arrested and he was a big name for the police to go after.

So why is Allred going after Taylor and not the pimp? I think you know the answer to that.

We’ve learned Allred is representing the victim, who was 16 at the time the NFLer engaged in sexual misconduct with her.

The girl will give a victim impact statement today, before Lawrence is sentenced. He will plead guilty to one count of patronizing a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct. He’s expected to get probation. Taylor must also register as a sex offender.

After sentencing, Allred will hold a news conference with her client.

But here’s the bigger thing … Although Allred is mum, our educated guess is that a mega-civil suit against Taylor is now looming.

Taylor received probation today for his part in engaging with a minor. Allred is trying to exploit the situation for her own gain and the 16 year old is trying to cash out. This only makes it more difficult for women who have been physically abused, because no one likes someone who exploits their situation for money.

The message it sends is if you are a high profile individual, it is all about the money as opposed to trying to stop the real pimps— criminals and abusers that are preying on young woman every day.

Gloria Allred is a joke and a detriment to women everywhere.
