The reason why is simple, if you see Beyonce wearing a certain type of dress or shoes, it is more likely people will go out and buy it. She probably didn’t pay for, but no one needs to know that.
That is why I find it a bit odd that a store sued Ocho for clothes they gave him. Sounds like the store’s fault for trusting him, but since he didn’t go to court they got a judgment. Profootballtalk has the details:
A judge in Cincinnati has ordered Ochocinco to pay more than $11,000 for clothing that he obtained from a local store, but for which he never paid.
“My clients informed me they had given him ample opportunity to pay it and he didn’t,” attorney Joseph Honerlaw, said Tuesday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Chad for his part doesn’t seem overly concerned.
