For full disclosure I am graduated from The Ohio State University, right around the same time Jim Tressel became the head coach.  Also I have said for years that there have been things going at Ohio State that you would consider shady.

The Maurice Clarett story, was only a small part of what was going on.

When the five Ohio State players was suspended for selling memorabilia and exchanging things for free tattoos I wasn’t surprised.  That has been going on for a long time.

The fact Jim Tressel knew about isn’t surprising either.

He has been suspended by the school for two games because he didn’t disclose this information in a timely manner.

One thing that you should know is that Jim Tressel will not be fired from Ohio State unless he is caught with a co-ed having sex in the middle of the shoe.

Ohio State is one of the most powerful universities in the country in regards to influence with the NCAA and what Tressel has done for the morale of the University after the John Cooper era can not be expressed in words.  He is as close to an untouchable coach in college athletics that we have.  For the time being it would take something monumental for him to be removed as coach.

There are cracks now in the Sweatervest, but the Dam is nowhere near breaking.
