Yesterday we brought you some pics and the video of Serena Williams new commercial for the Top Spin 4 video game. In the back of my mind I thought it was a bit raunchy, but I just figured that was part of the marketing campaign.
According to Sports By Brooks that wasn’t the case and the Cinemax After Dark version wasn’t suppose to be released to the public.
The ad was originally posted on YouTube by the actress featured in the commercial — apparently she wasn’t satisfied with 2K Sports’ decision to cancel the public release.
2K Sports’ official statement: “As part of the process for creating marketing campaigns to support our titles, we pursue a variety of creative avenues. This video is not part of the title’s final marketing campaign and its distribution was unauthorized.”
I am 99.9% sure that whatever watered down ad that 2k Sports comes out with, won’t be as good or garner as much attention as the Cinemax after Dark one.
