Maybe Young realizes the market for his services isn’t a big as he thought it would be. It only takes one team, but there seems to be more interest in Kevin Kolb and even Kyle Orton.
VY is trying to see if he can kiss and make up with the Titans since they now have a new coach.
“I would love to stay in Nashville. I would love to stay in Tennessee,’’ Young told Chaney Entertainment via Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean.
“I’m a big fan of [Mike] Munchak,” Young told FoxSportsHouston.com. “I always call him Big Hall of Famer in the hallways and things like that. I have a lot of respect for him and he has a lot of respect for me so it’s great.”
No matter how much respect Young thinks Muchak has for him, the new Titans coach has made it clear Young has no future in Nashville.
Can’t hurt for Vince Young to play nice with the Titans, since technically he is still on the team. He sounds like a guy who is living with his girlfriend, but she is just waiting for the lease to be up before leaving him. He is trying to get her to extend the lease, but he needs to start packing his boxes.
