A week ago, we let you know that Amare Stoudemire was teaming up with producer Swizz Beats to make a Knicks rap anthem. Well, behold the finished product.
As it turns out, Amare wasn’t the only one to make a cameo appearance. Carmelo Anthony stopped by the shoot, although he doesn’t appear to be as energetic about the whole thing as Stoudemire.
The timing for the release of the video might have been better. It hits the Internet about the same time as reports that Chauncey Billups (who allegedly “got the place rockin'”) will likely miss tonight’s Game 2 against Boston. But the exciting news is that it might also be the first (and possibly only) time Ronny Turiaf and Landry Fields have been mentioned in a rap song. So there’s that.
