Innocent until proven guilty.

People seem to forget that at times especially in this new age media.  More people believe the phrase is “Guilty until prove innocent”.

The Duke Lacrosse team were not perfect as they were portrayed by their lawyers, but they weren’t rapist.  The accuser Crystal Mangum is a seriously disturbed woman who has been in trouble both before and after the scandal.

Her latest issue was trying to murder her boyfriend.

The woman who falsely accused Duke lacrosse players of rape may be in serious trouble: she’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Durham police arrested 32-year-old Crystal Mangum Sunday morning after being accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the chest.

Investigators say the two were arguing at a home in Durham when the assault occurred.  No further details have been released.

Mangum’s 46-year-old boyfriend is in serious condition.  Mangum is in jail with no chance of bond.

Crystal Mangum is no stranger to trouble.  In December she was convicted of child abuse, along with a slew of misdemeanor charges in connection with a house fire.

I feel bad for the guy, but what was he thinking getting in a relationship with a woman who is destine to be on an episode of “Deadly Woman”.  His boys failed him greatly, either that or he doesn’t know how to use Google.

Simply put Miss Mangum is not a good person.  She has a pattern of irrational, abusive, violent and criminal behavior.  She deserves to be behind bars.

If she is found guilty of the attempted murder, she never needs to be released.

I feel sorry for her children, hopefully someone will take them in and give them the home and love they deserve.
