Attention, attention all NFL and fantasy football general managers alike…DON’T DRAFT CAM NEWTON. The kid obviously lacks desire; remember he did leave a promising future with a national championship team to attend junior college. So what he won a junior college national championship, he should have never been there in the first place.
What’s that you say, he won a BCS championship the following year along with the Heisman trophy? That’s not the type of desire the league will look for in him. He has to desire to be great. Anybody can win a Heisman trophy you know.
And besides his lacking the desire to be great, his smile is so fake. I know veneers when I see them. All the great athletes have their God given teeth, take Michael Strahan and Mike Tyson for example. Now those aren’t fake smiles, it’s no wonder they were great.
Enough with the senseless criticism already. I felt like a jackass typing this nonsense. I honestly would like to know what makes a person utter such stupidity.
For every supposed character flaw I’ve read Newton possesses, he’s shown the exact opposite on the field. He’ll struggle to garner respect in the locker room, yet he came from a junior college to lead a team unranked in the preseason to the national title.
I read that he comes off as very scripted. To that I ask, “Is there a more scripted quarterback in football than Peyton Manning?”
There will be 254 young men drafted this weekend. All possess flaws. Just remember in assessing their on field potential; only one won the Heisman and only one quarterbacked the BCS champions.
