Florida Gators Janoris Jenkins Dismissed From Team After 2nd Marijuana Arrest

I wonder how many people have lost their jobs because of weed?

Weed in my opinion isn’t a harmful drug (I think alcohol is more dangerous and it is legal), but it seems like daily someone is getting caught up in a weed arrested that causes them to be fired.

This was the second weed arrest for Janoris Jenkings and he has been kicked off the team.

Jenkins’ dismissal came after he was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession. Gainesville police said they found a marijuana cigar in the console of the vehicle Jenkins had been sitting in at a downtown parking lot.

It was the second time in less than three months Jenkins, 22, was arrested for a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge.

These are minor charges, not like he was Frank Lucas, but he has no one to blame but himself.

Is weed really that important to lose a full scholarship for?
