That is Sterger’s problem, she should have been a gold digger and she wouldn’t be broke right now.  You can’t have a high moral ground when you dealing with “Package Pics” of Brett Favre.

Sterger tried to play both sides of the coin and ended up bankrupt.

She wanted to seem like she wasn’t trying to get paid, but hired high price lawyers and PR people to represent her.  That’s why she is on Good Morning America crying.

“I haven’t made a dime off anything in this whole situation,” Jenn Sterger said in the interview that will air on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday and Wednesday and “Nightline” on Tuesday night. “Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine. I’m not a gold-digger. The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job.”

“You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job,” Sterger told ABC. “But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That’s all I wanted.”

The thing is I believe her at least the beginning part.  I have it on good authority that she didn’t want the Lil Favre pics to be released.  She wasn’t the one who handing over the pics and voicemails over to Deadspin.

Someone like Jenn Sterger probably has a phone full of “package pics” from entertainers and athletes, that isn’t as uncommon as you think.

Her fatal mistake was being talked into getting a lawyer.

The day she got the lawyer and her advisers started to use legal terms, was the day her credibility as an innocent victim was lost.  If she would have just said she wanted nothing to do with this, I don’t think people would have given her such a hard time.

But when she refused to work with the NFL and information leaked she was trying to get paid, it killed what little credibility she had.

So while her original intentions were to stay out of it, she made a calculate mistake that is noe costing her and for that she has no one to blame except herself.
