The Chicago Bulls are honoring their second greatest player in the same manner they did their first. During halftime of the Bulls Eastern conference showdown with the Boston Celtics tonight, the Bulls will unveil a sculpture dedicated to hall of famer Scottie Pippen. The sculpture will reside inside the arena as opposed to outside ala the bust dedicated to Michael Jordan in 1994. The bust serves as the latest in a long list of honors for Pippen and comes on the heel of his hall of fame induction this past year.
The Bulls are more than likely going to be the top seed in the Eastern conference as a result of the MVP caliber play of Derrick Rose. If Rose keeps up this play throughout his career, don’t be surprised to see a bust of him joining Scottie and Michael one day.
