In the grand scheme of things Bynum got off light.

I think his apology probably saved him a longer suspension he was also fined $25,000 for taking off his jersey “thuglife” style.  The question begs will he be a Laker at the beginning of the season or will he be a Magic, Hornet or some other team.

Bynum is the Lakers most valuable trade piece.  If they want to reload he has to be traded and there are a lot of teams who would want a legit center that is coming into his prime.

If he can stay healthy he can be a centerpiece of a franchise.

Of course that is a big “IF”.
