Another sad story coming from the world of College Football. OU football player Austin Box, has been pronounced dead after being found in his apartment.
University of Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box is confirmed dead after being hospitalized Thursday.
According to an El Reno Police report, the responding officer said he believed Box had overdosed on a controlled substance.
The medical examiner’s office confirmed his death to OKBlitz.com Thursday afternoon.
El Reno Police Chief Ken Brown said medics from Mercy Hospital and police responded to a home in El Reno Thursday on a report of an unresponsive male subject with unknown medical issues.
No word on what the controlled substance was, but the point is to be very careful about what you are ingesting in your body.
