New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards was involved in a minor car accident in Detroit early Friday morning. According to Detroit police and first reported by the Detroit Free Press, Edwards lost control of his 2011 Audi just after 3:30 in the morning, drove across a patch of grass and hit a pylon. Neither Edwards nor the passenger in his car were injured.

Back in September, Edwards was charged with drunken driving after having a blood-alcohol reading of twice the legal limit. However authorities say that alcohol was not a factor in Friday’s incident.
