Our friend over at FullCourtPumps.com allegedly has the smoking gun there were indeed Heat players making it rain with Mark Cuban and the Mavs at Liv Nightclub after the Mavericks beat them down on their home court?

Here is the tweet that has been making the rounds.

The rumor is that Eric Dampier was the one two stepping with former teammates.

Here is the thing, since I wasn’t there I can’t say with 100% accuracy that it didn’t happened, but beyond my sources telling me it didn’t happen, lets use some common sense.

Considering the media scrutiny the Heat have been under all year, are you telling me that any member of that squad would have been able to walk into that Club and not one person take a picture of them?

Not one person has ran to Media Take Out, Deadspin or TMZ looking for a couple of dollars?

No one person twitpic or sent a photo to Facebook?

It is a cool story, but sounds like an Urban Legend to me,  without any clear and concrete evidence it should be taken with a grain of salt at best.

I don’t think this is true. If it is then I and all Heat fans should be pissed. If any member of the Heat organization from the Big 3 to the trainers were with the Mavs that night then they need to be fired, released or traded. Whatever applies to the culprit.

  3. Maybe someone confused Jim Jones for James Jones and Jay Z for Big Z.
