Kris Humphries Had Bible Messages Engraved on Kim Kardashian’s Ring
I am trying not to laugh, because you really shouldn’t laugh about passages from the Bible, but I find this hilarious.
Here is what The Hump decided to put on Kimmy’s 2 million dollar sponsored ring.
“It’s engraved, with two things from the Bible,” Humphries told People. “There’s one verse [Proverbs 31: 10-31] about the perfect godly woman… The other, [1 John 3:18] is about love. It took me… a few days to pick them out and research the perfect ones.”
While we don’t know exactly what’s on the rings, the Proverbs verse begins (in King James translation), “Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil,” while the John reads, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.”
Nothing says “Godly and Virtuous Woman” like Kim Kardashian. These are the times I wish I could text God just to get his reaction. I am sure it would be something like this.
I hope this future marriage last, because the potential comedic value is high, just like George W. Bush’s presidency.
