One of my better NFL nicknames is Joe “Waka” Flacco.

He finally decided to make his high school sweetheart a real football wife.

Joe Flacco got his first ring this weekend, although Ravens fans hope he adds another this year.

Flacco married his longtime girlfriend, Dana Grady, on June 25 in a low-key ceremony in Philadelphia, according to the quarterback’s father.

Flacco and Grady started going out at the end of his senior year of Audubon (N.J.) High School and have been dating for nine years. The wedding took place in the same church where Flacco’s parents were married.

As long as she doesn’t appear on any reality shows they should be all good.
