Sort of fitting that the thing that might retire Terrell Owens isn’t a beef with management, the media or a quarterback, but a reality TV show if you believe sources that are speaking to ESPN.

Reports are that T.O. hurt his knee sometime during this offseason and because of that injury he had ACL surgery that could keep him out for at least six months.

Terrell Owens, who has placed himself among the NFL’s all-time leading receivers with plans to play a 16th season, has undergone surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees following a previously undisclosed injury this offseason, according to sources familiar with the injury.

Owens, 37, was unavailable for comment but sources said the surgery by noted orthopedist Dr. James Andrews occurred within the past month.

One source said Owens was hurt while on site taping a television show.

Doesn’t matter how he hurt his knee, the issue becomes that he is a 37 year old receiver coming off two knee surgeries that has burned a lot of bridges around the league.

It could be a wrap for Terrell Owens, hope he got recurring role on Single Ladies.
