I know what a lot of you are thinking.

Who is the blue hell is Breidis Prescott and why does Amir Khan need to fight him?

There is one simple reason.

Watch the video below.

There is no shame in losing, some of the greatest fighters of all time have lost and sometimes in stunning fashion.  I give Khan a ton of credit for shaking off the KO, working hard and becoming a better fighter.

He destroyed Zab Judah last Saturday night in what many people thought would be his stiffest test.  It wasn’t that he just won, but how he won, he was a machine, Manny Pacquiao like in his destruction of Judah.

With that being said Prescott has been calling him out for awhile and Khan has wanted no part of it.  Partly because of business, the only reason anyone knows Prescott is because of his knockout of Khan, but the other part is that Khan knows this is man who took a small part of his soul.

He needs to exercise that demon, before I can anoint him the next big thing.

Beating Tim Bradley who has no power won’t impress me, but taking care of Prescott would, then he can move on to bigger and better things.

Khan has an opportunity to be one of the best, but take care of that unfinished business first.
