Deron Williams Signs With Turkish club Besiktas | Robert Littal Presents BlackSportsOnline

Deron Williams Taking His Talents to Turkey During NBA Lockout?

by Robert Littal | Posted on Thursday, July 7th, 2011

This is the type of story type that I wouldn’t believe until the words came out of Deron Williams mouth, but reports are that Williams will play in Turkey until the lockout is over.

Nets fans are not pleased.

NBA star Deron Williams has agreed terms with Turkish club Besiktas in principle.

Williams will sign a contract with Besiktas that will allow him to return to NBA as soon as the lockout ends. Nevertheless it is the greatest summer transfer by a European club, so far.

If I was superstar like Williams, I wouldn’t take the risk. Williams who have had his share of injuries, there is no upside in this.

I will believe it when I see it.

Allen Iverson approves this post.
