Dirk Nowitzki is a baller, and ballers will always find ways to ball ..
The Marvericks forward confirmed that he will be taking his talents overseas later on this year, but not to play on a professional team. Instead he will be playing for Team Germany as they try to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.
Noting that the German team is young, Dirk indicated that he would like to help them succeed.
The European Championship lasts for about three weeks and will be over by mid-September. With the NBA Lockout in its initial stages, it’s not like Dirk has anything better to do. By playing for his native country, not only would he stay in terrific basketball shape, he would also give Germany a much better chance to make it to the 2012 Olympics in London.
Win-Win situation ..
