My advice to Jalen is to get a driver at least for awhile.
He isn’t having any luck with cars, cops and judges.
Just hours after he was sentenced to serve jail time on a drunken driving conviction, Jalen Rose was pulled over for going more than 20 miles per hour over the speed limit in a Detroit suburb.
Clawson Police Chief Harry Anderson told the Associated Press that Rose, a former University of Michigan basketball star and NBA player, was clocked going 46 miles per hour in a 25 mile-per-hour zone Wednesday night. He was given a citation at 8:47 p.m. for going 10 miles per hour over the limit.
“I’m humbled, I’m embarrassed, and I’m very apologetic,” Rose said about a half-hour after the sentence was handed down. “I can assure everyone that nothing like this will ever happen again.”
Rose can’t make any more “mistakes” even if they are minor ones like a speeding ticket.
We all speed, so no need to over analyze it, but being in the position that Rose is in, he needs to obey all traffic laws.
Slow down, don’t drink and drive and be careful, because he is holding on to his ESPN gig by a thread. I would hate to see him go because he is by far their most intelligent and interesting NBA Analyst ESPN has.
