When the Titans drafted Jake Locker at No. 8, I was initially very disappointed. With Nick Fairley on the board, I was sure the Titans were going to go defense.

However, as I read more about Jake Locker, I began to like him a lot as he seems like a well grounded young man. He already comes off as the anti-Vince Young and seems more concerned about making headlines on the field rather than stirring up controversy off it.

With the Titans’ signing of Matt Hasselbeck, I believe Locker finds himself in a very good situation with a team that is rebuilding itself with high character players.
