Lockout has to be ending soon, because lavish spending is taking place of epic proportions. Exhibit A, Washington Redskins Tackle Trent “Silverback” Williams had this custom chain made for him.
Nothing says progress like a diamond encrusted gorilla.
Deadspin has the details:
It’s a black-and-white diamond encrusted silverback gorilla chain for Redskins tackle Trent “Silverback” Williams. Supposedly, it’s worth between $100,000 and $150,000. Even the diamond gorilla has a diamond stud in its ear.
I am not one to tell anyone what to do with their money, but……………

That is just ridiculous. Then again, he will be making about 8 milly this year. I really hope the lockout is over, I doubt if your gorilla piece with your name on it is returnable. lol.
Damn, if he was gonna blow over 100K on a freakin’ ugly a$$ piece of jewelry, he could’ve paid off my 25K student loan and still had over 75K left to throw away on something else dumb!
