According to Jorge Sedano of 790 the Ticket in Miami, his sources say Plaxico Burress is willing to take less to take his talents to South Beach. The problem for Plax is the Miami Dolphins have not returned any calls on Burress and they’re more interested in bringing in Donte Stallworth who is working out with Burress. Stallworth played prior for the Saints, Brown, and Ravens in hopes of locking up a speedy receiver to open the field for Brandon Marshall.
Plaxico Burress is currently working out in Miami and his agent is Drew Rosenhaus, appears Miami would be a perfect fit, but the current Miami Dolphin regime are not known for taking risk on players or draft picks. Miami already rolled the dice on Brandon Marshall and appear unwilling to have another strong personality in the locker room.
With that said Donte Stallworth DUI accident which led to the death of a pedestrian occurred in South Beach and would make his Miami signing a bit ironic. Miami Dolphins fan base are craving for the Dolphins to return to playoff status, overlooking Plaxico Burress must leave “Dolphans” scratching their heads if Burress is willing to take less to come to Miami and they refuse.
