Stanley Cup Vancouver Rioters Turning Themselves Into Police

Picture 7 of 25

I’m all for doing the right thing but if I did something wrong and no one finds out about it then I won’t snitch on myself. I don’t care what my conscience says.

But I guess some folks in Vancouver don’t feel the same way. Apparently, 34 rioters have turned themselves into police admitting their involvement in the infamous Stanley Cup Game 7  riot. So far no one has been charged.

The Vancouver Sun reports:

Nearly 50 investigators and civilian experts — up from 43 last week — are looking at about 600 gigabytes of data; they want email submissions to be sent to [email protected].

The integrated riot investigation team wants people to email tips, photos and videos to add to their archive of more than 15,000 images and 1,200 hours of footage. People can still turn themselves in by calling 778-838-2124.

To each his/her own I guess. Maybe they’ll get a lesser sentence for coming forward.

  • What a joke. I live in this city and it doesnt mean anything if they turn themselves in and charges have not been laid. All that will do is allow others to believe in the future they can get away with these hooligan like activities. If the justice system wants to prove a point they should be heaved in jail.
