For months Jeremy Maclin has had a mysterious illness.
At first many thought including myself he just had mono, but after months of not getting better, we found out it was something much more serious, but luckily he is going to be ok.
Maclin tells Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com that the third-year receiver has been cleared after undergoing tests for lymphoma.
News of the possible diagnosis came on Maclin’s birthday, May 11. Lymph nodes were removed and tested last week, and he has received word that he does not have cancer.
Maclin told Glazer that the problem was determined to be a virus.
I am glad they were able to determine the issue and start treating it properly. I can understand Maclin and the Eagles wanted to keep things quiet until they got to the root of the problem.
We wish him well in his recover.
