According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“After weighing his options and contemplating offers, he’s decided to retire,” said Randy Moss’ agent, Joel Segal.

What my sources is telling me is that most teams interested in Moss wanted him to play for the veteran minimum and wouldn’t guarantee him a spot on the roster.

He would have had to fight for his spot just like a rookie and in the end that was something that Moss didn’t want to do, so he decided to call it quits.

Moss in my mind is a no brainer 1st ballot Hall of Famer who I think will be appreciate more in retirement than he was while he was playing.
