There is something a little off with Roy Williams.

From mailing engagement rings, to celebrating after making a two yard catch and being overly giddy about having someone carry his pads, it just appears his priorities are out of order.

Dez Bryant ignored his request last year to carry his pads, this year a rookie didn’t see the big deal until Roy of course made it a big deal.

“I got a text message from somebody, and they were just like, ‘Man, I’m glad you didn’t pull a Dez Bryant.’ I’m like, ‘What?’” Young told ESPNChicago.com. “They just said something about me carrying Roy Williams’ pads, and I told them that it wasn’t a big deal to me at all. I had a free hand. I just grabbed them and went with it. It wasn’t a big deal.

Williams was pleased that Young did as he was told.

“Oh man, it was lovely,” Williams said. “I was like, ‘Hey 19, take my pads.’ ‘Yes sir.’ There was no, ‘I ain’t got to do this’ — none of that, so it was good.”

I think Williams has a bit of a inferiority complex. He needs these little gestures to make him feel good about himself. You notice how he emphasizes the “YES SIR” part, to make it seem like Young is some sort of servant. Young’s version is probably what really happened.

Roy should concentrate on catching balls and not trying to lord of rookies before someone like Young ends up taking his job and have Roy carrying his pads.

  2. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all web owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
