Honesty is a very important trait to have.

The first person you need to be honest with is yourself.  If you are lying to yourself you will never prosper.  That is why I got on Draya for trying to lie about her child endangerment charges (Video: BBWives Draya Michele Says Son Never Taken From Her..Police Say Otherwise).

As I said before just tell the truth, no one is perfect.  It is when you lie that people start to judge. It appears at least in this interview that she is being a little bit more open about the person she really is.

AsKKissy.com has the details.

You’re obviously pegged as the girl who’s going to shake up the show, but how do you want to portrayed on the show?
Hopefully, after editing and everything, it changes some people’s opinions of me. I know what to expect, so I won’t be shocked if a lot more people hate me than they already do. People don’t always have the nicest things to say about me, so I’m used to it already.

I want people to see what I do and how I live me life, just so they have a better understand of what it is that I do. A lot of people are confused about how I live my life and why I live my life a certain way and I’m able to travel so much. I want to put a light on what [my life] really is. It is not always a party. I don’t look at a party as a party; I look at a party as a job, so [the show] will let people know what is really going on inside of my world.

Now, make it clear — what’s you connect to the basketball world?
Basically, now I’m friends with a bunch of wives and I dated a basketball player before. I mean, it was nothing currently or anything like that. It was a couple years ago. No big deal.

To break that all down in a more simple form what she is saying is this.

I get paid to look pretty, athletes and entertainers like me cause I am pretty.

No problems with that, if someone would pay me a few $1000s to chill in a club for an hour with free drinks and wings I would be on the next flight out.

Don’t try to make it into something bigger than it is. Don’t try to act like you are trying to save the world. You are a semi successful Twodel, with a bit of a shady past, just own it.

Some people are going to be cool with it, some are going to dislike you, but in the end you have to do what is best for you and your kid.

Hopefully the “partying” has upgraded the living situation for her and her son, that is all that really matters.
