Wait…………..
What………….
Nnamdi is a pretty peculiar guy, but this might be the worst excuse for poor play I have ever heard.
But he’s also struggling with his adjustment to a new time zone and with living in a different part of the country, and you have to wonder if that’s the reason Asomugha is missing tackles and allowing more receivers to beat him for catches? Could be.
“Here, things aren’t as familiar,” Asomugha said, via CSN Bay Area. “The biggest reason is because when I got here, we went straight into football. I didn’t get here in March, so I didn’t have months to get acclimated. It’s the end of September and I’m still getting acclimated to the area and just using my down time to familiarize myself with the East Coast and with football out here.”
I hate excuses. Nnamdi has been in Philly since late July, it is almost October don’t serve us BS and act like it is top sirloin.
Just man up, say you are struggling a bit and you are working hard to correct it. I am always leery of players who find obscure excuses for poor play, because they are shifting blame off themselves to others. That is always a red flag.
I understand Nnamdi is in a new defense and in the spotlight, but the time zones have nothing to do with it. If the time zone is enough to throw a supposedly All-Pro player off his game, what does that say about Nnamdi?
Just do better.
