Shimmy Walker doesn’t care about your NBA Lockout.
Not when he is making BIG BIG BIG Money in the D-League. Here are the details.
The Idaho Stampede of the NBA’s Developmental League begin their season on November 25th against the Tulsa 66ers. According to a release from the team yesterday, 12-year NBA veteran Antoine Walker has re-signed for a reported $25,000. Last season Walker averaged 16 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 33 minutes per game for the 24-26 Stampede, who finished 7th in the Western Conference. The 35-year old Walker had this to say on his return to Boise:
“I can’t wait to get back to Boise,” Walker said in a release from the Stampede. “It’s a great place to live and I’m hoping I can help this team make the playoffs and win a championship—we’ve got some unfinished business to tend to.”
At least he has the right attitude.
Now lets all Shimmy………..
