This was expected but still tough pill to swallow.

The NBA and the Players’ Union had been negotiating for the past two days, but could not come to an agreement, so David Stern has made the announcement that the first two weeks of the NBA season has been canceled.

According to Stern there is zero possibility of an 82 game season now and no new negotiations are scheduled with the Players’ Union.
