I don’t do many things well, but the one thing I know I do better than most.
I don’t overreact to things.
I see things clearly as they happen and give an unbiased opinion. When you dealing with athletes like Lebron, Kobe, ARod and even Tim Tebow you can’t get up into the hype.
The Denver media who has been clamoring for Tim Tebow and singing his praises after last week’s comeback, has done a total 180 in their evaluation of the Starter God. Check this out.
The Detroit Lions have apparently cured Denver of Tebow Fever, at least for a week.
Here’s the take from Mark Kizla of the Denver Post on Sunday.
“[Tim] Tebow played as ineptly as any sorry excuse for a pro quarterback possibly could. He was laughably bad,” Kiszla wrote.
Oh, there’s more:
“Those five wonderful minutes against Miami now look like an aberration. Right here, right now, he is the worst quarterback in the NFL.”
Here is the thing from the time Tebow was draft eligible I have said the same thing. His delivery, lack of arm strong strength and the fact he simply isn’t comfortable in the pocket, would make it extremely difficult to succeed as a quarterback in the NFL.
I thought he was a 4th-5th round pick at best and honestly thought he would be better H-Back or Fullback than Quarterback.
Once the Broncos drafted him in the 1st round it didn’t matter what anyone thought he was going to get his shot at quarterback.
That is what he is getting right now, everyone should chill on the hyperbole and let it play out. Then when you have a full set of games to evaluate him you can make an informed decision on your future.
It has been two games, relax, drink a Capri Sun and just ride the Tebow wave.
