Everything has been set up perfectly for the Houston Texans to finally make the playoffs, but in classic Texans fashion they are having trouble grabbing the opportunity by the throat.
Some of it is they don’t have a serial killer mentality and the rest is major injuries.
First Arian Foster, then Andre Johnson and now Mario Williams.
Houston Texans linebacker Mario Williams has a torn pectoral muscle that will sideline him indefinitely, if not for the remainder of the season, a person familiar with the injury told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Williams is undergoing more tests Monday to see if there’s any hope the Texans could get him back later this season.
Hopefully Williams can come back this season, but it isn’t looking good. The Texans are going to have to man up and show a bit more heart if they finally want to get over the hump.
