The injury bug loves the taste of New York Giants apparently as it claimed another starter today.
New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is reportedly out indefinitely after learning that he cracked a bone in his foot. Bradshaw left the game Sunday with an injury, but it was not believed to be serious.
Ahmad is coming off of a 1,200 yard rushing season last year and was on pace to put up similar numbers as this season. In what used to be a two back system, Bradshaw has been given the majority of the carries even in goal line situations.
Backup running back Brandon Jacobs has been unhappy with his role, but maybe he can take a break from his fast ass cars and have himself ready for Sunday when the Giants travel to Foxboro to take on the Patriots. Personally, I think that the Giants are going to give running back D.J. Ware a lot of Bradshaw’s carries, so if you are hurting in your fantasy league, picking up Ware would be a strategic move as I did.
With number 1 receiver Hakeem Nicks banged up, the Giants can ill afford to lose another key piece. Have you seen their schedule?
But hey man, the Giants have questions at the running back position amidst a midseason run, could we be getting close to Tiki Barber time?………………………..
NO! Don’t even think about it!
