Delonte West Thinks Nike Should Make, Market Condoms

I’m not quite sure what to say about this one. There’s no basketball so Delonte is obviously finding a way to keep himself relevant.

The Nike slogan, “Just Do It”, means many things depending on where your mind’s at, and Delonte thinks that it would be a brilliant idea to combine the popular slogan with condoms.

There are two ways to look at this. For one, Nike making and marketing condoms would be a great idea in the sense that the already successful company would bring in even more revenue and the marketed athletes would also benefit. Young people overpay for Nike items anyways so what makes one think that they wouldn’t overpay for the condoms.

On the other hand, parents of teenagers may look at this as Nike promoting underage sex seeing that the company has a faithful fanbase in kids as young as 10 and 11 years old.

Either way, I don’t think this would happen due to the backlash Nike would receive. But there are some positives to be considered.

And yes there is several Lebron Jokes that go along with this (check the photoshops above).

    Great Idea! I would totally endorse these condoms, in fact I’ve already tested some on lebron’s mother, functioned properly…
