Just when it looked like to Houston Texans would take that next step, the injury bug bites them. Today the Texans have placed Matt Schaub on injured reserve and ending his season according to USA Today.
The Texans also signed career back up Kellen Clemens and are expected to start Matt Leinart this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The bright side for the Texans is Arian Foster is fully healthy and they are ranked second in running the football averaging 158 yards per game. Along with Andre Johnson coming back from his injured hamstring to give Leinart an added weapon to lean on.
While fantasy football owners weep (myself included, good thing I got Matt Ryan) the Tennessee Titans now have new life if they can put together a streak to make a run at the division.
