Jay Cutler Engaged To Kristin Cavallari for 2nd Time..Injures Thumb Shortly Thereafter

Picture 5 of 5

Let me make sure I understand this.

Jay Cutler dropped his fiancee Kristin Cavallari before the season and the Bears after a shaky start, catch fire and look like legit Super Bowl contenders.

Cutler gets back with Cavallari proposes again and then he hurts his thumb causing him to be out for at least the remainder of the regular season.

Suffice to say that I think Ms. Cavallari is the new Jessica Simpson of the NFL.

Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Jay has proposed for the second time–and Kristin has accepted!

“Kristin is over the moon with happiness,” a source tells Life & Style. “She’s already told her friends that the engagement is back on. They haven’t set a new date yet.”

As Life & Style previously reported, after a whirlwind 10-month romance with The Hills star, 24, Jay, 28, abruptly ended the relationship when Kristin put work before plans with the Chicago Bears quarterback. Kristin, who had been excitedly planning her dream wedding, which was set for summer 2012, was left heartbroken.

If only Cutler had gotten engaged to Kim Kardashian the Bears could have been fitted with their Championship rings by Thanksgiving.

According to Kristin her and Jay are back together, but no engagement.

Engagement or not, she seems to have a “cooler” effect on him.
