Kelly Rowland aka the Memphis Bleek of R&B still is a bit salty at Former Cowboys and Bengals safety Roy Williams.  Rowland who is a friend of Kim Kardashian sympathizes with Kimmy’s 72 day wedding disaster because as she puts it, she almost herself married the wrong man.

She conveniently leaves out the part about how she was kicked to the curb and if not for that should would have been spending those NFL checks.

Necole Bitchie has the details.

“I wanted that wedding. I wanted to be married.”

“You can just make wrong decisions in life. That was all part of growing up. I just think it’s important to trust your gut. I did a lot of soul-searching afterwards, and I want to be married, so dating is part of that process.”

A few years ago, Roy Williams revealed that he broke off the engagement because he realized the relationship was moving way to fast. He sat Kelly down to see if they were making the right decision and it ultimately led to the end of their engagement.

“I sat her down on the bed and said, ‘Kelly, we don’t know each other well enough to get married. “At the time, she was cool with it, but I ended up catching a lot of heat for doing the grown-up thing.”

So Kelly Rowland lies just like Bob Costas since she didn’t make the decision at all. Roy Williams made the decision and while Roy was known to blow a coverage or two, I don’t think he blew this assignment.

He would have been in the same position as Kris Humphries since Rowland from all accounts had Kardashian type tendencies and demands before we even knew who Kim Kardashian was.

I am sure Roy is much happier now while Kelly is still salty.

Rowland is on the cover of Modern Bride magazine, but similar to the Basketball Wives you don’t actually have to be married to be on the cover.
