One thing should be made clear, before you get to Joe Paterno or anyone in the Penn State Administration don’t forget the real issue here.

Jerry Sandusky is a serial child molester.

The fact that some at Penn State has blatantly covered for him while others didn’t do as much as they could just remember Sandusky is the sick twisted individual who everyone needs to point out before talking about anything else.

Joe Paterno’s job security and if he goes or stays debates should be put on the back burner.  I don’t care if Paterno coaches, what I care about is what didn’t Paterno do to stop this Monster.  Football is the last thing on my mind and it should be the last thing on your mind in this case.

As far as the kids camping out in from of Paterno’s house in support.  They are college kids, I don’t think they grasp the seriousness of what is going on.  All they see is the media attacking their coach who is more like a grandfather to them.  When you are 18 or 19 years old sometimes you don’t think and you have a follower mentality that is what I think is going on here.  I don’t condone what they are doing, no one should be supported during this scandal, but I understand why they are doing it.

Here is video of Paterno speaking to the kids.

  1. I like this post, enjoyed this one regards for putting up. “He removes the greatest ornament of friendship, who takes away from it respect.” by Cicero.

  2. Right here is the right web site for anyone who wants to understand this topic. You realize so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I actually will need to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a topic which has been written about for ages. Wonderful stuff, just excellent!
