Chris Paul Trade to Lakers Resubmitted to David Stern For Approval

As I said on Twitter on Friday, the only way the league could save face in this Chris Paul trade fiasco is find a way for CP3 to traded to Lakers while appearing that it was actually for “Basketball Reasons”.

According to Mark Stein of ESPN a new deal has been sent to the league for approval.

Details of specific changes made to original 3-team framework not immediately known but NBA insisting Hornets get more youth/picks this time.

Simply put it has to take place this time because if the NBA shoots down a second deal the outrage will even be greater.

David Stern will never admit he was wrong, but he was and this is his way of trying to save face.
