Ohio State Buckeyes Get 1 Year Bowl Ban for NCAA Violations

All things considered this is a win for OSU.

The Buckeyes still have Urban Meyer, Braxton Miller their quarterback will only be a Sophomore and the recruiting class coming in will still have three years of bowl eligibility.

OSU should thank Penn State because their scandal made the Buckeyes tattoos look minor by comparison.

You could say OSU violations as a whole were worse than USC but I believe the NCAA realized they punished USC too harshly and acted more accordingly in OSU’s case.

As an OSU alum I am pleased it could have been much worse.
