Sam Hurd Faces 40 Years in Jail..Hires Snoop Dogg’s Lawyer David Kenner

When you are a big time drug dealer you hire a big time lawyer right?
Call me crazy, but normal 9th string WRs don’t hire celebrity attorneys like David Kenner.
Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that Hurd has hired L.A.-based attorney David Kenner to represent him. Kenner famously (and successfully) defended Snoop Dogg (back when he was Snoop Doggy Dogg) against a murder charge.
Hurd, who appeared in court Thursday, faces up to 40 years in jail.
Hurd is still in jail and probably should exercise his right to remain silent until his lawyer can figure out the best way to get himself the best possible deal he can.
