Terrell Owens Campaigning to Be Signed by 49ers
The crazy thing is that he would probably help them.
The 49ers need a red zone presence and an explosive wide receiver to help out Alex Smith. Michael Crabtree is nice, but he isn’t elite and T.O. if he is healthy is better than any of the other options they have outside of Crabtree.
T.O. has been putting feelers out via Twitter.
Out of work wide receiver Terrell Owens is letting it be known on his Twitter page that he would like a reunion with the 49ers. Owens tweeted to former Bills teammate Donte Whitner, “@DonteWhitner Let em kno if they need me, I’m ready homie!! I’m ready 2 take em deep!!” Whitner responded via Twitter, “@terrellowens I know u are! And I’m ready to Vouch for…and let everyone kno how GREAT of a teamate u were in buffalo!”
It is unlikely to happen, but if you re the 49ers might be worth at least a discussion.
If T. O. Was still an explosive receiver he would have been signed by now.
If the 49ers want to play the Ravens in the Super Bowl *wink* they should consider signing Terrell Owens!

Bring TO on board and lets take it home and win the Super Bowl!!!! I am, have, and always will be a Faithful Niner….Yeah TO left a bitter taste in my mouth, as he did to many after we traded his arogant ass to the Eagles, but people can change….and you cant take away the fact that he is a Great WR. If people can let the past be the past, I believe he can help out our offense in a big way. Lets face it, we need some help with all of our recent injuries. Sign him and let him redeem himself!!!!
