Bengals Jerome Simpson Indicted on Drug Trafficking Charges
The police went Roy Jones Jr. on Jerome Simpson and was like………….
“Ya Musta Forgot”
While Simpson is now universally known for his front flip into the end zone, the cops haven’t forgotten he was trying to get his mini Sam Hurd flipping something else a few months ago.
Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson was indicted on drug charges Thursday in Kenton County.
The indictment charges Simpson with trafficking marijuana over 8 oz and less than five pounds, according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders. The charge is a Class D felony with a punishment of one to five years in prison.
The indictment comes nearly four months after federal authorities swooped in on his Crestview Hills townhouse and seized a package containing 2.5 pounds of marijuana from California that had been shipped to his residence. Inside the home investigators also found about six more pounds of pot, scales and smoking devices.
Simpson better hope the Judge and jury are Bengals fans.Powered by Sidelines
