I think the first time I ever uttered the phrase …………

“Don’t let your sons grow up to be kickers”

Was when Bills Scott Norwood missed the game winning FG against the Giants in the Super Bowl.  I was a young Rob then, but I knew even then that being a kicker is all or nothing.

If you make the kick they love you, but when you miss it especially after a hard fought game like the Ravens vs. Patriots that is a tough pill to swallow for the team and the fans.

There is no such thing as a chip shot FG and anyone who says so doesn’t know what they are talking about.

I feel for Billy Cundiff, but part of the job.
